SIMBA Project – Innovation and collaboration for monitoring mobility in children with autism

The research team from the Politecnico di Milano, consisting of Veronica Cimolin, Manuela Galli, Serena Cerfoglio and Lucia Donno, went to the IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana in Rome on November 3rd for an operational meeting with the clinical partners of the SIMBA project (Innovative Solution with wearable sensors for Monitoring daily mobility in children with Autism).

During the day, the project's progress was shared and the next project activities were planned.

SIMBA project aims to develop solutions based on wearable sensors to objectively and continuously monitor the mobility of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, contributing to the evolution of clinical evaluation practices and the personalisation of interventions. The partners of SIMBA project are the Politecnico di Milano (lead partner), the IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana in Rome (clinical partner) and BTS Bioengineering (industrial partner).
