From scientific insight to the startup, the path is anything but linear, especially in the health sector, where the challenge of innovation intersects with ethical responsibilities, complex regulations, and the concrete needs of citizens.

It is in this context that the DARE project comes into play, with the aim of enhancing the potential of data for prevention and health promotion throughout the entire course of life.

Together with BI-REX and Fondazione Golinelli, DARE supports an ambitious entrepreneurial education program, which began with a traveling roadshow and has now continued with the ReActorPro program, guiding over 23 research groups in the transition from idea to enterprise.

The next stage, in 2026, will be G-Force, an intensive acceleration program aimed at the creation of real startups in the field of digital health.

As declared by our president, Lorenzo Chiari:
"Promoting entrepreneurship in the world of research is a strategic necessity. A multidisciplinary approach is needed—one that brings together research, clinical practice, and business, while constantly listening to real needs."

Overcoming the 'valley of death' between research and the market is possible—and necessary. It is essential to turn innovation into impact and to build a healthcare system that is more equitable, effective, and sustainable.
